Terms of Service
Trial Class
updated July 2025
These Terms and Conditions apply to all trial lessons offered by Cherry Tree Art Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a trial lesson, you (“you”, “the client”, “parent/guardian”) agree to the following terms:
1. Trial Lesson Booking and Reservation Fee
1.1 A non-refundable trial lesson booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your child’s place in a trial lesson.
1.2 This fee helps cover the cost of materials, preparation, and ensures a fair booking process for all families.
1.3 The trial lesson will only be confirmed once the booking fee has been received in full.
2. Attendance and Cancellation
2.1 Please allow at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a trial lesson.
2.2 Cancellations will result in forfeiture of the reservation fee.
2.3 In the event of a no-show without notice, the booking fee will be forfeited and cannot be credited towards future enrolments.
3. Trial Outcome and Credits
3.1 If the student continues with enrolment after the trial lesson, the booking fee may be credited towards the student’s next term invoice.
3.2 Credits are only applicable to the student attending the trial lesson and are not transferable to another student, workshop, or cash refund.
3.3 Participation in a trial lesson does not guarantee ongoing enrolment. We reserve the right to determine class suitability based on studio readiness, group dynamics, age, and focus level.
4. Trial Lesson Conditions
4.1 Trial lessons are one-off sessions available only in term-based classes. Holiday workshops are single-session workshops and therefore do not include trial lessons.
4.2 All materials for the trial are provided by the studio. There is no need to bring any equipment to the trial unless otherwise advised.
5. Studio Expectations
5.1 Parents/guardians are asked to drop off students and leave during the trial lesson unless prior arrangements are made.
5.2 The studio environment is designed to promote independence and creative engagement in a small group setting.
5.3 If a student is distressed by parent absence or unable to participate appropriately, it may be advised to delay enrolment until a later date.
