Terms of Service

Holiday Class

updated July 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern all art and craft sessions conducted during school holidays (“Holiday Classes”) by Cherry Tree Art Studio (“we,” “our,” “the Studio”). By enrolling a student in any Holiday Class, you (“you,” “parent,” “guardian”) agree to the following terms:

1. Definition of Holiday Class

“Holiday Class” refers to any short-term art or craft session held outside of the regular academic term schedule, including single-day or multi-day programs conducted during NSW school holidays.

2. Enrolment and Attendance

2.1 Enrolment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is not secured until full payment has been received.

2.2 All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid. No credit or refund will be issued for change of mind, non-attendance, or scheduling conflicts.

2.3 In the event of illness, a request for a class transfer may be submitted in writing. Transfers are subject to availability and not guaranteed. No refunds will be provided under any circumstance.

3. Student Supervision and Conduct

3.1 Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that students are dropped off and picked up promptly at the scheduled start and end times.

3.2 Students must be capable of participating in group-based creative activities without parental assistance.

3.3 The Studio is not responsible for supervising students outside of class hours. Early drop-offs and late pickups are not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.

3.4 The Studio reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful, without refund or compensation.

3.5 Parents acknowledge that participation in creative activities carries inherent risks (e.g. minor cuts, slips, paint contact). By enrolling, you accept these risks and release the Studio from any liability arising from reasonable accidents or incidents.

4. Clothing, Personal Property and Studio Care

4.1 Holiday Classes involve the use of materials such as paint, glue, clay, and other potentially staining or messy substances.

4.2 Students are required to wear appropriate clothing. We recommend old clothing or a protective art smock.

4.3 While a limited number of smocks may be available for primary-aged students, the Studio does not guarantee availability.

4.4 Cherry Tree Art Studio accepts no liability for damaged or stained clothing, shoes, accessories, or personal belongings brought into the studio.

4.5 Students must treat studio equipment, furniture, and materials with care. Any damage caused by misuse may be charged to the parent or guardian at the Studio’s discretion.

5. Materials, Food, and Allergies

5.1 All standard art materials and tools are provided for Holiday Classes. Students are not required to bring their own supplies unless otherwise instructed.

5.2 Students attending two consecutive sessions in one day must bring a packed lunch.

5.3 Light snacks (e.g. morning or afternoon tea) may be provided. These are not guaranteed to be allergen-free.

5.4 Parents are solely responsible for notifying the Studio of any allergies or medical conditions prior to the student’s participation.

5.5 The Studio is not liable for allergic reactions or adverse responses where we have not been adequately informed in writing. Students with known dietary requirements or allergies must bring their own suitable snacks and medications if needed.
